The Mechanical Contractors Association of Northwest Pennsylvania is pleased to announce the Foster McCarl, Jr Scholarship program for students entering or enrolled in Plumbing, HVAC, Engineering, Construction Management, or other construction related fields of study. The MCA of Northwest Pennsylvania will recognize four (4) outstanding students by awarding each a $500.00 scholarship. These scholarships are available to students attending or enrolled in two or four year programs at accredited colleges, universities, and technical schools.
The recipients are well rounded individuals with deep interest and involvement in their communities. They spend time volunteering, have excellent academic performance, and are leaders in their schools through involvement in athletics, clubs and student government. They are the leaders of tomorrow.
For students attending the Pennsylvania College of Technology (PCT) in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the MCA of Northwest Pennsylvania offers a $1,000.00 scholarship each academic school year. Students enrolled in PCT’s hvac and plumbing technology associates degree programs are eligible. Also eligible are students enrolled in the college’s bachelor degree curriculums in hvac technology, building automation technology, or construction management.
